Over $100,000 is raised each year by local non-profit groups through ticket sales. Qualified organizations may purchase a package of 200 tickets for $25.00, however, all proceeds from the sale of the tickets to the public are kept by the selling organization. To purchase tickets, groups will need a check from their organization made payable to "Great Pottsville Cruise" (no cash sales). For more information on how your group can sell Cruise Car raffle tickets, call 570-622-9510, or come to the official Cruise Car unveiling on Sunday, March 30th at Pioneer Pole Buildings, Inc., on Route 183, Schuylkill Haven, at 1:00 p.m., with the unveiling at 2:00 p.m. There will be free refreshments and live radio with Magic 105.5 FM. Bring your classic cars, car clubs are welcome, and get your tickets early. Organizations can reserve the Cruise Car for special events throughout the Spring and Summer - first come first serve. This year's Cruise will be a 5-day event, August 6-10, 2008. The Great Pottsville Cruise is a Pottsville Lions Club Charities and Pottsville Pride event.
